RIBELLIONI

Hello,

In the Event phase, when checking for rebellions, is it one die roll (1d4+1) for all territories on the map ?
Or is it one die roll per territory with less than 5 units ?

I.e. on a roll of 4+1=5, are there rebellions in many places at the same time, or is it one territory at a time ?

Ciao!

Is better only 1 die roll for all map, but if you want you can die roll for each territory with less than 5 units (remember Technologies LAW and FEUDALISM).

Funny fact: a player never had enough units to be sure not to suffer a barbarian revolt and - lucky him - it never happens. Another player only had two territories covered by 4 units during one single rounds: two revolts have occured! (and it was so viciously fresh to laugh at him...)

Well, it is a bit of my concern, here.
If players decide to play "gutsy", leaving 4 units instead of 5 in many territories, these could all revolt at the same time.
But then perhaps, this is how it should be.

However since Calamities occur before Rebellions, let's imagine conservative player with 5 units and a tower in every territory. A Flood occurs, skimming off the tower and a unit in every territory along a river, and then 4+1 is rolled for rebellions ; all territories would suddenly flip from secure and orderly to Barbarian Hordes everywhere. That's a double-whammy killing anyone's game, no ?

Then 1d4+1 for every territory with less than 5 units would mitigate this.
Unless there is something wrong with my reasoning...

If players decide to play "gutsy"... or "imprudent".

If you have time, is better 1d4+1 for every territory.
